At the beginning of this year, I thought a lot about the kinds of images that I as a parent hold close to my heart. And although we all love the “look at the camera” types of photos of our chilren, there is just something about capturing who they are and what they love because one day it will all be different. Recently I chose an image of my son on his 8th birthday holding his “lovie” (a well-worn lamb named snuggles) as my favorite image of 2013. You can see that image here. I chose it because it captures the love he has for this toy that is nothing more than just that… a toy. But to him, it is his pal, his friend, his security. As he gets older, snuggles is not around anymore, but the memory of the adventures my son shared with snuggles will always be. Every child has a lovie… and every child will outgrow it. So why not capture an image of this lovie before it becomes a memory.
For that reason, I am announcing here and on Facebook some very special minis just for kids… My lovie & me minis. With only 8 slots available, these are very limited. Booking starts today… so if you want one… email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
