I can’t explain the sense of joy I feel to see this image of my son daily. Kids are surrounded by so many video games, computers, television shows, and ipods…. and many times, they forget to pick up a book and just read. The simple act of reading the words page after page is often forgotten. Yet my son doesn’t forget that reading can be fun.

We woke up to snow this morning… something that normally we don’t see here. And for that reason when we do see a blanket of snow in our yards, it becomes an unforgettable, magical experience.

And since our kids are in college and not here, only the pups were with us to experience snow. So of course this dog mama took out her big camera and snapped some photos of the doggies playing in the snow for the first time.
