This year’s first round of Be Merry sessions started out at the most amazing new location, the Eilan in North San Antonio.  It has been a while since the last time I set foot at the Eilan,  and I was excited to use it as a backdrop for the wonderful families I photograph each year.

Many of my Be Merry clients are repeat clients… that means they schedule fall family photos with me every year! And therefore, I always try to find new locations to make each year’s fall family photos a bit different.  I usually go for the green background or the wood-like locations, but this one is nothing like that at all.  At the Eilan location you will see beautiful staircases, beautiful buildings, and architectural features that take your breath away.  When this family arrived, they loved how different it was from years past.  And mom definitely chose outfits that fit the location perfectly.

The Eilan was the perfect backdrop for capturing heartfelt connections between this beautiful family.  It is a place that I plan to return to more often.  As a matter of fact, I will be back there for round 2 of Be Merry Sessions this week. It is definitely a must see.
