Every year I donate a family photography session to a special cause and this year it went to benefit a fellow educator and mother fighting breast cancer.  I am always eager to meet the family that ends up with winning the bid for a family photography session with me.  And this year I met this incredible family.

Their boys are not little anymore…two of them currently don’t live at home and one is getting ready to graduate from high school.  And apparently, it had been quite a while since the last time they were photographed together.

So a family photography session was so important to mom.  As a matter of fact, we had to work miracles just to make it work but it all came together.  Even the weather held up for us that day… it was as if things beyond our control wanted to make this happen for them too!

And so on this day, we gathered all the boys together and grandma to capture moments like these.  The boys found the experience to be pretty pleasant and dad did too.  And the best part was that Mom was happy to see how it all came together.  She will forever have these images hanging on the walls of her home.
