I should start by saying that custom photography is just that… custom.  The experience, the product, and the service you receive when you schedule a custom photography session is not like anything you would find at a photo studio in a department store.  It is a more personalized way to celebrate your children as they truly are.  We have all at one time or another scheduled a quick 20 minute session at a local photography chain studio.  We arrive only to find the studio set up with simple backgrounds and our children are forced to say “cheese” in front of the camera while posing like every other child in the studio.  We walk out of there with images in hand which were printed using a printer that looks much like the printer we have at home.  To sum it up, it is quick and easy.  However, it doesn’t capture your children’s interactions and life moments that we want to hold on to forever.  With custom photography, you get the attention of the photographer before, during and after the session.  You have the opportunity to share your vision for the session with your photographer, and in return, the photographer helps you plan everything from the wardrobe choice to the location to the types of props you would like to use.  During the session, the photographer strives to get images that show your children as they are.  Once the session is over, your photographer works to make your images into the art that you will soon display in your home.  In addition, you walk away with prints and boutique products that are not only printed in a professional lab, but also images that will last a lifetime.  Choosing a custom photography session is an investment… more than you would spend on a quick and easy session at at department store.  However, the investment is worth the experience because is all about YOU!
