When I started my photography journey, I had no idea where it would take me but I hoped that it would lead me somewhere that would make me truly happy. And I found that after all the experiences I have had as a photographer, I can truly say that photographing one’s childhood is my all time favorite thing to do. It is may happy place…. and every time I have the chance to capture kids being who they are and doing what they love I can’t help but smile.
I met these two sisters not too long ago. You may remember them from their spring session… we had a blast playing in the field, riding the red tricycle and reading a book on a blanket in the park. And once again, I found myself capturing their little moments at their BE MERRY session. Mom did an amazing job at coordinating their outfits… perfection! And when they arrived, my heart was singing a happy song. Two amazing little girls… sitting on a tree swing below a big oak tree… laughing and smiling away as if everything else just disappeared. These are the moments that will forever fill the walls of their homes… but most importantly… will be a reminder of what childhood is all about.
