In the last year I have noticed clients walk away from a session with prints that are sized at 8×10 or smaller.  They choose the prints they love, frame them, and place them on a bookshelf somewhere in their home.  I have come to the realization that a lot of people are afraid to print anything larger than an 8×10 because the thought of a large print hanging on the wall is a bit overwhelming.  As a photographer, I admit that I haven’t done a very good job of showing my clients that larger prints aren’t as scary as they seem.  Not anymore!  Starting today, I plan to show my clients that size does matter.  Pictures are worth a thousand words… and why not show off those images to everyone that walks through your front door.

Notice how the “eye” immediately shifts focus from the couch to the image hanging on the wall.  You want people to focus on what’s important… the beautiful images that tell your life story.

Recently I purchased a tool that will help me provide my clients with customized examples of amazing wall displays using images from their session. I can’t wait to use this same tool to fill a blank wall in my own home!
