Not your typical child portrait ~ Bulverde child photographer

We all want pictures of our kids.  From the moment they are first born, we book a photo session.  And then in school our kids get that typical school portrait shot done every year.  And those are all great… but wouldn’t it be amazing if a child portrait captured their likes, their favorites or even what they love so much at that point in time.  Instead of a typical “look at the camera” posed shot hanging on the wall, you could have something totally different to look at.

Wouldn’t  a shot of your little guy playing with his favorite toy trucks or wearing a superhero cape that he loves so much be better than a headshot of him in front of a textured backdrop.  Or maybe pictures of our kids with their favorite dolls, having a tea party, or riding a tricycle would help us remember their childhood more than a typical posed picture.  Portraits like these not only will remind us one day of what our kids loved so much at the time, but imagine all the memories that will come flooding back every time we look at these.

This little guy loves cameras. He loves to take photographs and if you follow me on social media you may remember me mentioning that he always takes the last shot with my camera at every single one of his sessions.  And so… what better way to capture this year of his life than with an actual camera!!!! And y’all although at first he was bummed that this camera was TOO OLD to actually take some pictures, he was happy to play along.  I just know that his mama will love looking at these for years to come!
