Back in August, our family decided that our 8 year old doggie, Tux, needed a companion.  After Snowball, our Maltese, unexpectedly passed away Tux struggled so much with being alone.  He suffered with incredible anxiety and nothing seemed to work.  Leaving our house was so stressful because we knew Tux was just going to have such a hard time.

In August of 2021, I found Oreo.  We met Oreo and just fell in love.  He is the sweetest pup with so much energy and the most amazing attitude.  Although Tux doesn’t like to play with him YET… and believe me Oreo tries… Tux likes having him around.  His anxiety is gone, he doesn’t bark when left home alone, and they go for walks together.

I wasn’t sure if getting a new pet less than a year after Snowball’s passing was a good idea.  But when I see how much easier life is for my Tux and how much joy Oreo has brought to our home, I know it was the right choice.
