Look at their family portrait. She is one of my beautiful friends… you’ve seen her here before because she trusts me to capture her family moments.  And this day was no different… they drove all they way to New Braunfels to this magical location… a greenhouse I found on one of my endless location scouting days. And as always, my heart is happy when i get to do this for her.

But on this day my heart was full for another reason.  You see… her son (the oldest) always loves to visit with me during our session.  And when we visit he tells me all about taking pictures.  He loves the camera and every time I take their family portrait he asks if he can just take “one picture” with my camera.  And of course I can’t say no.  I am always eager to see what he captures after the session.  I have a feeling that one day he will be my assistant and possibly even doing what I do.

Next time we meet to capture yet another family portrait to add to their walls, I know that it will end with that last picture this little guy asks to take.  And I will gladly hand over the camera!
