Lately I have been growing my work as a senior photographer in Bulverde.  And this SV senior was a very recent graduate that I photographed.

A few months ago I photographed him as he neared his high school graduation.  And today, he embarks on a new journey as a college student away from home, away from his family and friends, and away from his home.  As parents we think about this moment, we know its coming, and we prepare for it as much as we can.  And when the time comes for us to drop off our kids at their college dorm, away from home and the city they have known, it almost seems unreal.  We’ve prepared for it so much but yet maybe not enough.  In two years that will be me.  And y’all know this mom right here is going to struggle.  You can bet I am going to cry.

And so, on this day when his mom is driving across Texas to drop off her son, we need to send her positive thoughts.  Let’s remind her that her little boy is ready.  She has prepared him for this part of his journey and everything will be ok.  Give her the strength to know that her boy will be ok.
