Eight years ago today, my little guy came into my life and started me on this incredible journey of motherhood.  I remember feeling both nervous and excited to have this little boy in my arms, knowing that he would have my heart for the rest of my life.  And what a wonderful little boy he is.  Every day I feel blessed that I can call him my son.  He is loving and full of wonder.  He is the most responsible 8 year old I have ever met, and the fact that he wakes up in the morning on his own to feed the dog and dress himself would make any mom jealous.  He is appreciative of what he has, and he is always willing to share with others.  He can spot a puppy yards away, and when he finds it, he can’t bare to leave its side.  He is sweet and gentle, yet strong.  He is an artist, an animal lover, a reader, and a perfect student.  But most importantly, he is my son…
