ADVICE FOR THE CLASS OF 2025
1. Don’t just book a photo session… book a fun experience
Getting your picture taken can go two ways. You can stand in front of a camera and pose A LOT! Or you can book a photographer that makes the whole things so fun that you forget the camera is even there. Your senior photo session should be enjoyable! You should walk away with something so memorable that getting your actual pictures is just a bonus. Enjoy every minute of it! Advice for the class of 2025…It’s your turn to be at the center of attention.
2. Invest in a professional photographer.
This is a very important time in your life. The last thing you want is to hire your best friend with a camera or get your family member to take your photos with their phone. You won’t ever get this moment back, so the best thing to do is hire a professional from the beginning. Professional senior photographers will help you with everything from wardrobe to location to every single detail. Hire someone who knows what they are doing and you will walk away with senior photos that go beyond your highest expectations.
3. Have fun with it.
Your senior photos go beyond just one day! There is a lot that goes into it to make it customized just for you. Have fun choosing those senior photo outfits. Enjoy spending time with your parents as you shop for those little things that you want to bring along to your session. Find inspiration on Instagram or Pinterest and share those ideas with your photographer. Chat with your photographer about your dream session so that everyone is on the same page. By the time your senior photo session actually arrives you’ve already had a blast.
4. Photograph Your Skills and Talents.
You have spent your last four years in high school sharing your talents! You may be part of a sports team, dance team, band, or choir. Or you may love playing video games at home or Pershing your passions outside of school. Whatever it is make sure to document that during your senior photo session. Advice for the class of 2025…document that part of your life during your senior photo session.
5. Bring Along Someone Special
During your high school years, you form relationships with friends that are so important. You also are getting ready to close one chapter in your life and your parents have been a big part of it. So why not bring someone special to your senior photo session so that you get those memorable pictures together. When you book with Jessica Idalia Photography, you get to bring that someone special the last 15 minutes of your session to get your pictures taken together.
