It is hard to believe that the year 2021 has begun…and for some reason I thought it would feel different.  However, here we are… almost a whole month in and still we are surrounded with so much uncertainty.  So many questions cross my mind daily..and unfortunately with no real answers.  But one thing is for sure… every single day I will live with a grateful heart, enjoy every moment, and continue to live life doing the things i love.

It has been 10 years since I opened JIP, a dream that became reality when i became brave enough to JUST DO IT.  In ten years i have met so many incredible people, from families to other fellow photographers.  I have captured moments for over 100 families, grown as an artist, and challenged myself to be the best GIRL BOSS I could be. And y’all 2020 was the hardest year of all.  It made me question so much.  It left me months without shooting… it was a struggle.  I won’t lie.. there were days that I just felt like throwing in the towel.

But today… I was reminded of what I do and why i do it.  And there is no way that i can let a pandemic destroy my dream.  I am going into 2021 with a positive attitude… with new ideas and a few changes that I know will make 2021 a great year for JIP.
