A few years back I met my wonderful friend… She is a a beautiful person. Someone that I respect and care a lot about. She is one of the strongest and kindest people I know. And this past summer, she asked that I photograph her beautiful parents as they get ready to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. And after spending 30 minutes with them, I realized exactly why my beautiful friend is the way she is. Her parents are this fantastic duo. They laugh, joke and play. They are sincere and loving and extremely supportive. I loved every minute I spent with them… and I am in awe of all that they have accomplished in the 50 years of being together. What an amazing journey…
