“Great dancers are not great because of their technique, they are great because of their passion.”

And y’all this young lady has a passion for dance.  She has been dancing since she was a tiny little thing.. and today she graduates from high school.  To be that age again.. when your whole life is right in front of you and you are full of dreams and hopes and most of all TIME.  And so as I sat here to write about what I would like to say to her as she embarks on this next part of her journey… I decided that I wouldn’t just tell her… we all need to hear this too. So here goes…

JUST KEEP DANCING… and of course I don’t mean literally.  I mean… find your passion and never stop.  Doesn’t matter if you are 18 or in your 20’s or 40’s… it is never too late.  Whether you have always had a passion for animals and you would love to open your  very own pet daycare  or maybe your passion is to cook for others and you want to run your very own food truck or open a restaurant.  Whatever your passion is.. find it and allow it to be part of your life.  Keep dancing … even if things seem difficult or unattainable…. surround yourself with the people that encourage you and live the life you have always wanted to live.  Because y’all when you live every day doing what you are passionate about… you live your very best life.
